After working for DPC as a third party leasing representative on various retail projects for over two years, Justin joined the Company in 2008 as the Acquisitions Director. His focus is to identify, and pursue, the acquisition and development of office, retail, and industrial buildings, along with land development. Justin works directly with the asset management, leasing, and development teams in analyzing individual opportunities, as well as having a material roll in the due diligence and entitlement process.
Justin is also responsible for leasing of the Company's major retail projects and identifying build to suit activity in the marketplace.
Prior to joining DPC, Justin spent five years as a commercial retail broker with one of the most active St. Louis based retail developers. After working with the company in St. Louis, Justin moved to their Denver office in a similar capacity, representing both tenant and landlord driven transactions totaling over one million square feet, with lease values of several million dollars.
Justin's passion for real estate started at the University of Missouri where he earned a business degree with a dual major in finance and real estate. During his senior year, and while attending school Justin worked for a national preferred developer of Lowe's Home Improvement stores doing new market studies for potential development, marketing of existing product and lease administration. This early taste of the commercial development business was the start of a solid foundation and catalyst for Justin's interest in a commercial real estate career.
